The kids go back to school soon – I cannot believe summer is officially OVER!
I’ve laid out the 6 products you’ll need for lunch bags + and a few bottle essentials if your little one uses them for daycare! (Check out the end of the post for Lauren’s kindergarten essentials.)
Feeding Essentials
When packing school lunches, a few essentials that I use for Finn is this space themed freezable lunch bag + unicorn themed for Beesie. You know I am a huge user and lover of the freezable lunch box – it keeps items cold for hours (also amazing for breastmilk and formula!), and is great for travel or on the go.
This bento snack box fits perfectly into the freezable lunch bag to house little snacks, sandwiches, mac+cheese, hotdogs, dips, etc. Our school is peanut+treenut free, but this little snack box would be great for PB/nut butter dipping outside of school.
Both kids will eat Go-Go squeezes in basically one sip – so I always have those on hand for school lunches.
The kids’ new obsession are these Contigo water bottles for both water and milk. I love these for school lunch! I prefer the Contigo over the Camelback because the straw stays attached to the lid – somehow straws always go missing in our house. I kept with the space theme for Finn and this flower theme for Bee.
Nathan’s hotdogs are a family favorite and the best way to keep them warm is with these little thermoses – dishwasher safe on the top rack. Great for mac+cheese, pizza, pasta and more!
I also like these thermos jars too!
LABELS! are a must! Check out Mabels Labels for tons of great options for containers, clothing and more. I LOVE using them on the kids school lunch items.
If your little takes a bottle, these reusable and personalized bottle bands are PERFECT for daycare – interchangeable + you can write the date and time you pumped/prepared the bottle before and save time in the morning.Utensils
Fun utensils are a must! Love these classic construction forks + spoon for Finn, and the airplane + gootensil for Roey.
Freezable lunch bag for parents
You know I use my freezable lunch bags ALL the time! on the go, travel, breastmilk storage at work, lunches at the zoo, etc! A great investment and uses that extend past just lunches.
Lauren’s kindergarten essentials
Lauren’s daughter is going to Kindergarten this year and she is filled with all sorts of emotions for this big transition! Below are some of the things she bought in preparation for Kindergarten:
This little checklist is a great way to keep your child on track in the moring to make sure you leave the house on time!
Bentgo lunch box with built-in ice pack
I love that this lunch box comes with its own ice pack built-in ice pack. I am a big fan of Bentgo, so this was a great purchase for school.
Flag/board for pictures I like to have a sign for the first day. This year I’m eyeing this first day of school flag or first day of school board for pictures.
I love that this Minecraft backpack and Rainbow one come in different sizes and can be personalized. The lunch boxes and water bottles can be bough separately and personalized as well.
