Baby sleep hack for parents during the holidays

My favorite sleep hack for babies and parents you won’t want to miss.
Let’s talk about it – sleep is the hardest thing we face as parents! It seems like when our baby sleeps, we want that alone time. Then when we finally sleep, baby is UP!
Finally, we get in a routine, something comes up – such as travel, holidays, going back to work, or transitioning baby into a room with a sibling. Inevitably, sleep gets thrown off, daytime and nighttime, and leaves us and baby exhausted.
Creating a sleep environment that is not only safe but EFFECTIVE for sleep is crucial during these times. My favorite hack to keep sleep on track is the Slumberpod (Buy from the Bumblebaby store for $20 off).
What the heck is a Slumberpod? It’s a bottomless portable privacy pod that completely encloses standard playards, mini-cribs, and select toddler cots â giving a baby their own dark and private sleep space, just like at home.
The Slumberpod is perfect for:
- Travel, as it is compact and can fit in your carry on back or in the back of your car
- Room-sharing – with you, with a sibling, or a nannyshare
- Playdates and grandparent’s house
- Daycare
- If you can bring your baby to your office (depending on COVID, of course)
The Slumberpod 2.0 has a fan pouch for air circulation and a pouch for your monitor. The soft and breathable fabric also contains options to vent while still remaining dark. But the best part? It takes LESS THAN 3 minutes to set up and take down – it’s SO easy!
Places I have used my Slumberpod:
- Travel
- Room-sharing with a sibling out of town (check out my blog post on room sharing)
- At grandparent’s house
As a sleep consultant and parent, the Slumberpod is a top recommendation to keep sleep on track.
