Best stroller accessories for every season
Kate’s favorite stroller accessories are listed below – winter, summer, we have you covered!
Did you know that most strollers have car seat adapters? Check them out here! The adapters keep the car seat at the correct angle so it’s safe for baby.
Wondering what stroller I use? My favorite stroller is the Zoe – I have the Twin+ with the triple attachment (goes between a double stroller and a triple stroller) and the Trip (single stroller) for travel and to keep in the back of my car. Read more about why I love the Zoe Stroller here – PS – it’s Disney Approved! Use code BUMBLEBABYZOE for $20 off of $200 or more)
My favorite stroller accessories:
I love this stroller caddy because it has a cup holder and non-slip straps. You can use it for single or double strollers. If you’re looking for a bit fancier of a look, I like this one! Check out our amazon store for my favorite snack cups and water bottles for kids too!
Additional/replacement cup holder
You know mama needs her coffee! Many times when you have little ones, you’ll need extra drink holders for sippy cups.
My all time favorite accessory – attach your purse, diaper bag, groceries, backpacks and more to free up your hands! These are super durable, too. I have two for the double stroller, one for the single. Must have for travel, too!
Small diaper bag + accessories
One of my most used bags – this Roberta Roller Rabbit Makeup bag doubles as my mini diaper bag. I keep one in my car and one in my stoller – pack it with wipes, diapers, sunscreen, hand sanitizer and a wet bag! If you want to know what to keep in your big diaper bag for each age group, check out my post here!
I love SuperGoop Unseen Sunscreen and keep one in my stroller caddy at all times! It’s safe to use on yourself while TTC, during pregnancy and breastfeeding (have you seen my favorite TTC, pregnancy and breastfeeding products post?) and also on your kids in a pinch. You can put sunscreen on your baby at 6+ months – I love this sunscreen for babies and kids!
For safety, using a leash that goes around your waist while pushing a stroller is key. It not only frees up your hands, but allows you to safely push the stroller and not let the dog loose!
Especially if you are living in the city, this universal rain cover for single strollers is a must! Here is one for a side by side double and front to back double.
Great for planes and storage! This bag fits most single and double strollers.
Don’t forget your stroller fan in the warm months! This one has flexible octopus arms to mold to and angle how you want for your stroller. You can also clip it on baby’s car seat! If you are going to cover the seat of your stroller, please use a breathable fabric such as this muslin blanket and keep a close eye on your baby at all times! We love this one for your car seat too because it’s muslin and allows for air flow.
Another great addition is a universal stroller umbrella attachment to keep your baby even more shaded. Keep offering liquids frequently!
Be aware of the signs and symptoms of overheating in infants and children:
- Face is flushed and red
- Less wet diapers than usual
- Crying without tears (+4 months of age)
- Sunken soft spot (fontanel)
- Irritability or lethargy
- Dry skin/mucous membranes
Bring your child inside immediately and call your provider if they are exhibiting these symptoms as they may be overheated. Babies under 12 months of age will be well hydrated with appropriate amounts of only breastmilk/formula and small amounts of water with the OK from your provider (6+ months).
It may be a good idea to bring some cooling packs if you are anticipating being outside for a long time. Line the cooling pack in a muslin blanket and use in 10 minute intervals (with caution!) to cool your baby if needed.
Cold Weather Gear
If you don’t have these stroller mittens, you’re missing out!! They are the best for cold weather walks. We also love a warm footmuff – and the look of this universal footmuff! When on a walk, there’s nothing more annoying than when the blanket falls to the ground from the stroller – and this stroller blanket can be clipped in at the stroller buckle to prevent just that.
For super cold days, the universal rain cover (single, side by side double, front to back stroller) will help keep baby warm. I love this snow suit for walks in the stroller, too!

Entertainment
We love this clip on Yeti and Avocado to strap on your stroller for baby! We also love this entertainment center that wraps around. If your child is older, Kate loves soft books such as this one that are easy to hold and wash! For more great options, check out our car seat safe toys on amazon. For the toys you already have, these toy leashes are great so they don’t end up on the ground!
PRO TIP: For the toys you already have, these toy leashes are great so they don’t end up on the ground (especially during stroller walks).
